Real MANSCAPED Weed Whacker Review

Having thick long nose hair isn’t the most pleasant thing. I for one, have very thick black hair that up until now could only be tamed with scissors or plucking. Waxing your nose isn’t the greatest idea, but trust me I’ve tried (feel free to check out my post Why You Shouldn’t Wax Your Nose Hair).

With my thick hair in mind, I’m usually skeptical about nose hair trimmers. All the trimmers I have used in the past haven’t lived up to my expectations. When I realized MANSCAPED had a nose hair trimmer my interest was sparked. After reviewing the MANSCAPED PLOW 2.0, I can attest to the great quality of their products. So with this, I caved and purchased the Weed Whacker.

Getting straight to the point, the MANSCAPED Weed Whacker performed far beyond my expectations. The trimmer is 2-3 times more powerful than any other nose hair trimmer I have tried in the past. Battery life is a non-issue with the Weed Whacker as the thing lasts forever. The ergonomic design just makes sense when holding it in your hand, not to mention its attractive and sleek design. As a bonus, the entire head/ blade of the Weed Whacker is replaceable. Overall the trimmer is an excellent value for its price tag and I’d recommend it to anyone with thick and long nose/ ear hair.

Unboxing The Weed Whacker

The Weed Whacker arrived in a nicely designed box, similar to their other products. The box features a large picture of the trimmer as well as some information about the product itself.

Upon opening the box, the Weed Whacker is safely nestled in plastic packaging with the other contents under it. You can see a gold-colored welcome message on the side opposite the trimmer.

In total the box contains the Weed Whacker, charging cable and outlet base, an information booklet, and a nifty bag for storing it all in (a nice touch).

The trimmer itself is attractively designed and has a curve that makes it feel really good in the hand. There is a button on the center of the front that the on/ off switch. There is also a light indicator on the bottom of the Weed Whacker that tells you your battery life.

The Weed Whacker head is designed similarly to most other nose hair trimmers on the market with a spinning blade in the middle.

A nice feature is the ability to remove and replace the head/ blade, which is great because you don’t have to purchase a whole new trimmer when it gets dull.

Using The Weed Whacker Nose and Ear Trimmer

I was blown away by how well the Weed Whacker cut through my nose hair. I have thick black hair that is usually victorious over most nose hair trimmers. The trimmer didn’t tug, pull, or have any resistance at all. Each nostril only took me a couple of seconds to clear out and the hair was completely removed.

One of the best features of the Weed Whacker, in my opinion, is that it’s waterproof and can even be used in the shower. MANSCAPED advertises that the battery life on the Weed Whacker is 90 minutes before needing a charge which is insane. At the speed that this trimmer cuts my nose hair, I’ll likely only need to charge it once per year.

Overall Impression

My experience with the Weed Whacker restored my faith in nose hair trimmers. The trimmer was extremely efficient, even up against my thick nose hair. There is a ton to love about the Weed Whacker and very little to dislike. An ergonomic design, sleek look, and features that simply make sense set this nose hair trimmer apart from the rest. As with all their products, MANSCAPED was hardly messing around when they made the Weed Whacker. Overall, the Weed Whacker is likely the best-performing nose hair trimmer that you can get and MANSCAPED continues to deliver high-quality products that outperform the competition.
