MANSCAPED is a company that is primarily focused on luxury men’s grooming products. The company has made it its mission to raise awareness about men’s health and partner with the Testicular Cancer Society. MANSCAPED offers the option to donate to the cause with each purchase. With my purchase, I not only donated but also found a great app, Testicular Cancer Self-Exam, that provides some really great education and tips. Also worth mentioning, MANSCAPED products are the best way to manscape.
Alright so the company is great, but how about their products? In this review, I will be reviewing the MANSCAPED The Plow 2.0.

Overall the safety razor is very high quality. The head of the razor has a comb on the base plate that adds to the comfort. The weight of the safety razor is just right, being not heavy or light. It is worth noting that The Plow is a 3-piece safety razor and changing blades is easy and quick. Shaving with The Plow was a breeze and I almost felt like a second pass wasn’t needed to get a great shave. The Plow also came with 3 replacement blades from MANSCAPED, but after the first few uses, I realized I preferred replacement blades by Astra.

Unboxing MANSCAPED The Plow 2.0
MANSCAPED The Plow 2.0 came packaged in a nicely styled cardboard box. The box displays an image of The Plow itself along with other company graphics and information.
Opening the box reveals welcome to the MANSCAPED movement. Beneath the welcome panel is The Plow 2.0 safety razor and three MANSCAPED replacement blades. The packaging that holds the contents is plastic and was subsequently tossed in the recycling bin. Other razors I have ordered such as Vikings Blade The Chieftain have come with a reusable case with a magnetic closure.
The Plow 2.0 is a 3-piece safety razor and is made entirely of metal with a matte black finish. The handle of the razor is skinny and textured but fits well in the hand while shaving. On the cap of the head, you can find MANSCAPED engraved. The base plate of the head has a comb that seemed to increase the comfort of the razor while shaving. Rinsing and cleaning The Plow was also very easy due to the design of the cap and base plate.
Shaving with MANSCAPED The Plow 2.0
The Plow 2.0 is a high-quality safety razor that has everything anyone could want. The textured handle, while being short and skinny, made it very easy to keep my grip and make every pass effortlessly. The razor is neither heavy nor light, it’s kind of in the middle. I had to apply very little pressure while shaving with The Plow 2.0. Rinsing the blade while shaving was very easy due to the openings on the base plate that sit just behind the comb and under the blade.
The shave from The Plow 2.0 was extremely close yet comfortable. Unlike most other safety razors, I almost felt like I didn’t need to do a second pass of my face to finish shaving. The first pass with this razor got probably 90% of the hair on my face.
The first few times I used The Plow 2.0 I used it with MANSCAPED replacement blades. However, when switching to Astra replacement blades I felt like I got a smoother shave. It might just be a preference kind of thing.
Overall the shaving experience was very good and The Plow 2.0 is a great safety razor made by a company with a good cause.

Overall Impression
Testing out MANSCAPED The Plow 2.0 was a great experience that left nothing to be desired. The Plow made quick work of my 3-day stubble and was super easy to use. The razor is made of high-quality materials and has an attractive matte black finish that any guy would love. I especially enjoyed the comb integrated into the base plate and the balanced weight of the razor. One of the best features of The Plow is the holes in the base plate, which allow for water to pass through to make rinsing very efficient. Overall, MANSCAPED The Plow 2.0 has all the subtle features that make it one of the best safety razors on the market.
